Pros

Dedicated people working on a exciting project. Lots of opportunities to contribute. Lots of freedom and flexibility in how you do your work, perfect for self-motivated people who take pride in their work. The pay is good and goes a long way since the cost of living is relatively low. There is lots of potential in commercial spaceflight and TSC is well poised to have a bright future.

Cons

Most people commute at least 30 minutes to work. It is uncertain exactly what the company will look like in a few years.

Pros

Great group of people working on some pretty tough issues. No one said getting to space was easy. When I was employed there was a big push for process improvement.

Cons

The system I relied on often hindered work flow and make getting things done tough. That said I could tell management was aware and working on making it better.

Pros

The Long Beach site for Virgin Galactic is right near the Long Beach Airport, and is in a very nice facility. Building the factory from the ground up; it's exciting to be watching things come together in front of you and knowing you are helping out to make history. The staff are a very happy and friendly group of people and the work pace is very manageable. The Work/Life balance is great here; they definitely listen to, and take care of their employees. We have a few Company perks which are an awesome plus and Parking is a breeze.

Cons

Only two Electric car charging stations (the only 'con' I could think of)
