Pros

Virginia Tech campus is huge and beautiful. The pay for research assistants is decent if you consider the low cost of living for Blacksburg. You also get a plenty of opportunity to grow professionally and conduct quality research.

Cons

It is very difficult to travel to nearby cities from Blacksburg campus. It takes about an hour just to reach the nearest airport.
