Virta has given me the chance to love what I do! The people at Virta genuinely want to make a difference and are passionate about Virta's mission-reversing T2D. The company is growing faster than ever, and it's a very exciting time to join the team. It's refreshing to find a company that values my opinion and continually asks employees how things can be improved. Despite having a RIF earlier this year (due to COVID19), Virta was able to bring back many employees that were let go (myself included)! Virta's "people first" mentality came through as the team made sure to provide resources and references for all employees that were laid-off. Additionally, I think it says a lot about the company to see how many employees were (very) excited to come back after being laid-off months earlier.
Cons
The company is growing and the team is busy! Every employee's opinion is important, if you prefer to stay behind the scenes- you may be pushed out of your comfort zone.
