      Pros

      - cool mission, solving the diabetes crisis in America - good comp and benefits - non-management is friendly and helpful

      Cons

      - management was recently accused of sexual harassment by a former employee (and has kept it hush hush). This makes me think twice about executive leadership. - there's no women in senior management. another red flag. - office is tight

      Unlimited PTO Good mission Fun annual retreats in Palm Springs, Breckenridge and other places Some solid and nice coworkers

      Cons

      Toxic, robotic and cold managers who only care about random metrics while setting unrealistic expectations and paying lower market salaries. Feels like a cult of keto lovers and leaders who want to align with the Trump/MAHA movement. The goals change drastically every quarter, and year to year and everyone is constantly pivoting while spinning their wheels. Good people get let go while bad managers who are in the clique get promoted. Unlike other companies, there are not very many perks. No meal expense, even during lunch and learns and no travel software to use for booking flights and hotels so you have to pay for everything in advance and wait to get reimbursed.

      Pros

      The work we do to help transform lives of people with type 2 diabetes is very rewarding. The Virta Treatment itself is incredibly effective. Many employees at Virta are intelligent, emotionally mature, and supportive teammates.

      Cons

      Leaders in upper management verbally emphasize the important of our company values of being people-first, taking ownership, and maintaining transparency; however, they do the opposite of exemplifying our company values in their actions and decisions on a regular basis.
