Great Stock Performance @ Expense of Employees
Pros
Unfortunately there are no longer any Pros. Prior to 2019, I would say Flexibility, compensation job stability and vacation time.
Cons
*Corporate “restructuring “ to increase cash flow by firing 20-50% of employees in the US, UK and Germany. Then moving jobs to low cost countries including Mexico, India and Bulgaria. This is public knowledge as shared by executive strategy in 3qtr 2020 employee call. *Cut pay 20% for 6 months with no cut in hours, expectation to work more and no payback on that pay cut to employees. * Executive Leadership creating chaos and redundancy in work process and approvals. *CFO on a egomaniacal power trip and insisting to personally review every Global purchase for $10k and up. Completely slowing process, creating chaos with no trust of the support staff. * Using COVID as a scape goat to manipulate and bully suppliers *took away US employees vacation time so they don’t have to pay it out when they fire you *cutting head count so deeply all knowledge is lost. *little to no opportunity for advancement * little or no opportunity for women to advance * good old boy network and friend nepotism *work life balance is lacking due to COVID. *Everyone expected to work 24/7 or close to it to support global needs and try to cover work for the deep cuts * Sad day for US born and bred company to host only management in the US and all support staff and manufacturing in low cost countries. *Racism runs rampant in the Indian management strategy. *terrible employee moral and executive leadership fails to recognize nor attempt to repair.
