      Good Company, Needs Leaders

      Pros

      Excellent CEO who cares about his employees. The company values its employees and encourages employees to get involved with the company in various ways. They provide a lot of flexibility to help with a work life balance.

      Cons

      This is a highly political environment. They grow managers not leaders. The IT department is lacking strong leadership and cannot complete projects needed for the organization.

      Pros

      Overall great working atmosphere. Culture supports fun while working really hard. Opportunities for remote work allows greater potential employee base. Collaborative environment supporting cross departmental teamwork.

      Cons

      Plan for rapid growth by parent company did not translate early enough into plan for matching growth within MedAmerica. Not enough people to support the success - reacting rather than being pro-active. While the company thinks it is moving into the current times with the open concept work areas, the productivity has decreased while time is wasted with unnecessary group chats about non-work topics making it hard for those adjacent to these work areas to get their work done.
