Pros

Great work/life balance, PTO and Sick pay are pretty good, 401k match, flexible work from home schedule.

Cons

Pay is very low. Benefits are good but as a California-based company they should pay just as much as other medical facilities in the area. Merit increases are pennies.

Pros

Most doctors are nice to work with. The other scribes are nice and very helpful if you reach out to them. You get to experience the cases the doctors see first hand.

Cons

The hours can be tough. Sometimes you have a 6 am shift and suddenly have a 10pm-5am shift in the same week. The EPIC system also take some time to get familiar. This position is not for everyone, and should really be for people who are serious about pre-health or pre-med route.
