      Great experience in a growing start-up

      Pros

      VividCortex operates in an environment where executives are transparent with all employees. As an intern, this gives valuable insight into the growing pains and long-term success strategies of a start-up. Most importantly, interns are able to "learn by doing" with support by executives with decades of sales experience. Regardless of your potential career choice, VividCortex will offer an invaluable experience.

      Cons

      As with any start-up, you have to be comfortable with working multiple projects simultaneously. The sales executives won't micro-manage, so high personal accountability and organizational skills are required. While these aspects aren't necessarily cons, they should be a deterrent for potential interns/employees who aren't comfortable operating in this environment.

      Pros

      Joining VividCortex was the best decision I've made professionally. The team is extremely hard working and easy to get along with. We challenge each other to get better every day and build an amazing product for our customers. I come to work every day knowing I'm contributing to something special.

      Cons

      The challenges of a startup can be too much to overcome for some people. If you embrace change and can adapt quickly, then it won't be a problem.

      Pros

      We're growing quickly and received funding this spring, so it's an exciting time to be here. The people are all very intelligent and I learn new things and am challenged to be better every day. The team is really open to feedback and new ideas.

      Cons

      Some of the normal start-up growing pains are present, but it's nothing that can't be outweighed by some free snacks and funny memes.
