      Vizient is great, department leadership is not. Blatant favoritism and inequity amongst staff

      Pros

      Executive leadership truly walks the walk and listens to employees.

      Cons

      Certain departments and business units are just there for the checks and bonuses and to keep their "best friends" employed. Management in my department was lead by a group of 'mean girls' who constantly exhibited retaliatory behavior. No support from Sr leadership who witnessed said behavior while they all showed favoritism to others in support of getting high ratings on employment engagement surveys.

      Pros

      Vizient care deeply about its values and about its people. We have great benefits and time off, as well as a flexible work environment with a hybrid in home and at office structure.

      Cons

      Sometimes it feels like there is a process for how to handle something, but that process can get thrown out the window when the sales team is trying to close a sale. I get it, but it also creates confusion as to when pushing back is expected vs. avoided.
