Pros

Great concept—terrible execution, love the idea of supporting pathways out of poverty for underserved children

Cons

Horrid leadership, no norms are obeyed, resources that should be devoted to the students instead are used for expensive offices for leadership.

Pros

The dual immersion model is nice and their stance on equity

Cons

Poor training of staff, high expectations with poor pay, toxic culture of blame spread throughout the organization, and A LOT of nepotism from teacher couples, to hiring unqualified staff in the CMO level who aren’t qualified. Also, very cheaply managed no counseling programs or enrichment programs, led to terrible culture.

Pros

Its is rigorous with high expectations , so you learn quickly

Cons

Unrealistic expectations of teachers. They take advantage of new, young teachers with little to no experience. They do not implement feedback, but instead blame staff if they are unhappy. The amount of pay is low for the amount if work required and expected. No prep time as a teacher, so you are expected to plan outside of the 7:45-4:15 contract hours.
