Pros

The best reason to work there is the children.

Cons

This organization is super unorganized. Onboarding and training was pretty much watching mandated reporter videos and then you get thrown with the wolves. There is a very high turnover rate which says a lot about the company. SLT is so out of touch with what is going on at the schools and they don't know procedures on how to handle situations themselves. Teachers quit throughout the year which leaves students with no teachers or random subs. This job is a heavy workload with minimal pay. The culture is super toxic which trickles down from SLT. Avoid this organization unless you are trying to gain experience. The organization only cares about the payout for students- not their education.

Pros

Those who work in the schools truly care about the students. Leadership on site is great.

Cons

Low salary, high turn over, the network doesn’t care about employees. The network over works staff. Long hours,SR Management is not transparent with families and staff about the true state of the school. Several schools have lost principals,Deans of Culture, teacher, business manager every staff is leaving.

Pros

Strong culture among staff- they all care and are committed to their roles. I came to work for the students and the people I worked with.

Cons

Senior management has high expectations for all other staff but not themselves. If they miss a deadline or do not respond to an email its okay, but if any other staff member does it its an issue. There is little to no training- this org has been around for over 10 years, the excuse of being "new" no longer works, there should be onboarding and on the job training. Toxic management culture that points the finger at everyone else before looking at themselves.
