Pros

-Great people: As someone who's newer to the team, the support I've received from others in the org has made all the difference in my onboarding and ability to get up and running here at Vori. Everyone knows their stuff, takes pride in their work, and is more than willing to share what they know. From Ops to Support to Clinical all the way up to ELT, I have yet to encounter anyone who wasn't willing to answer my questions, point me in the right direction of resources, or walk me through something over a call. -Growth stage: It's a really exciting time to be at Vori. We're scaling fast, which means there's a lot of opportunity to build and shape the future of the org. One of my colleagues once described it as a house that's being renovated down to the studs. The bones of the house are staying put, but everything inside is being refreshed and renewed. From some of the other reviews on here, it seems like that might have been a friction point for many for a while, but it feels like we're on the other side of it now. Having just come from a company that was in the middle of a mass restructure, this doesn't feel like that. I think what's happening at Vori is that we've finally found our footing. We have a really strong team, clearly defined objectives, and a strong vision for what we want to do next. -Leadership: This is probably the best leadership team I've worked under in a really long time. The C-suite leaders are on it. They are hands on in the actual day-to-day reality of the business instead of just shouting down edicts from up high. They're also really approachable. I've never had any hesitation about reaching out to them directly, and none of them have ever been anything but lovely in my interactions with them. My direct manager is also great. Extremely responsive and supportive. I feel like I've been given the necessary tools to succeed, but beyond that, I feel like my work is genuinely valued and appreciated. -Career trajectory: From day one, my manager has been very communicative with me about my goals, growth, and role in helping shape the future of our team. Vori feels like a place where I can continue to push and challenge myself long term, and take on more responsibility over time. I actually feel like I'm actively being set up to do that. -Flexible, virtual work: Being remote-first is really nice, as is having unlimited PTO that employees are actually encouraged to take.

Cons

-Growth breeds chaos- This isn't a Vori-specific problem by any means, but characteristic of any company that's scaling. Growing quickly means we're often building the plane as we fly it. That can feel kind of chaotic at times. But to give credit where it's due, a lot of people in the org are actively working on setting up clearer, better processes. It's just a bumpy (but still exciting!) road as we work towards establishing structure. -Benefits are strong, but a 401k match, wellness stipend, or HSA contribution would be an awesome addition

Pros

Clear communication from leadership Regular staff engagement and cross collaboration, clear company expectations and standard operating procedures, positive work culture. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Heavy clinical work loads and clinical schedules. Almost non-stop shifts from start to end with full patient loads. Not much promotion potential.

Pros

- Working from home is great, but you can find this at other orgs. - There are several great people that work here.

Cons

- No longer is a healthy work environment due to additions in toxic executive leadership like the COO, CTO, and CEO. A few other operations leaders are clueless as well. - The entire sales/growth team has been depleted because they see how terrible this place has become. - I mentioned there are several great people that work here, the problem is that they are burned out just as much as you would become if you worked here. - Many, MANY great people over the last 2 years have been pushed out by new leadership. Some had their positions eliminated and didn't even get a chance to stay with the org in another capacity. Others left on their own accord because they have been verbally attacked by the Ops leader and realized they deserved better - Multiple executives are leaving/have left the company because they don't want to be here anymore or they were pushed out. - Executive(s) are busy pushing terrible platforms that are being run out of someone's basement and not at all ready for the big time as they barely function. Not to mention the team that runs the show there are extremely unprofessional. - There is NO room to expand your abilities in-house. Vori does not care anything about promoting from within, so get comfortable in your role because that's where you will stay. - Don't expect a significant raise at all. - Communication amongst all teams is beyond bad. - No 401k Matching (they claim it's coming soon, but probably wishful thinking)

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take workplace concerns seriously and use them to improve. As a rapidly scaling organization, change is inevitable to support the evolving needs of the business—but respect, professionalism, and accountability are not. We do not tolerate toxic behavior, and we hold our leaders to clear standards. While we recognize that experiences can vary, claims of widespread toxicity don’t reflect the consistent feedback we receive or the culture we’re building. We’ve also strengthened our leadership, hiring practices, and employee support as we grow. We’d welcome the chance to better understand your experience—please feel free to reach out directly to share more.
