Pros

There is typically a very good employee relationship on a daily basis and there is an opportunity to work on your own if you are a self starter.

Cons

Advancement is basically non-existent, and more responsibility does not necessarily mean that there is more remuneration involved. Too much middle-management on a corporate level. Minimal consistent communication from a corporate level to the everyday people.

Pros

Long lasting friendships. Was like family. Lots of great memories. Experts in their field.

Cons

Upper management manages from a distance, i.e. via spreadsheet. Because if this they miss what they are being told from the front lines. And by the time they look up from the spreadsheet it's too late.
