Pros

Good pay, interesting projects, 401K match couldn't be better. Company occasionally has catered Friday parties that give you the opportunity to mix with other departments. Health insurance is top-notch.

Cons

Frequent reorganizations (and layoffs) based on "market conditions" that are meaningless to a company that doesn't exist for profit. Some of the earlier layoffs managed to trim the fat, but recently seem to be cutting into muscle. It appears the most important criteria is to get rid of the people with the most longevity (and likely the higher paid).

There are tons of brilliant and fun people to work with and learn from and the projects you get to work on are often the type you cannot find anywhere else

Cons

Ownership and top leadership have made it clear that employees are all replaceable and do not value them or create opportunities for growing their career

401K is good and ok money; cool projects (most get cancelled); and mostly smart people work there but none stay long

Cons

Middle management is overpaid, underqualified and lacks basic leadership qualities; CEO has no business experience; Excessive turnover and difficulty hiring (i.e. look at how many jobs are posted considering the company is not growing);
