Pros

Interesting projects - very international - opportunities to learn new things - culturally very diverse - great people - teamwork focused

Cons

Benefits are average - healthcare is expensive for a so-so plan - work- life balance is poor - need to work a lot of evenings and weekends - under-resourced (even before spin activities) and a lot of micro- managing from the top

Pros

Varied work, not routine, for the most part. A great resume builder!

Cons

The management team seem to be stuck in the 1970's! Safety is literally laughed at here, harassment is commonplace as well as the violation of labor laws. Health insurance is very expensive, wages are among the lowest, if not the lowest, through- out the company nationwide. The chemical operators are treated very badly compared to the other employees on site.

The people you interact with day to day are pretty great. The work is interesting with opportunities for career growth.

Cons

Grace was a good company before they went private. Now they’re in the midst of a layoff program but refusing to call them layoffs. The whole program has been in complete disarray with senior leadership unable to provide the basic information like end dates or severances. They’ve also told several teams that layoffs are coming but let them stew for over a month before finally making the decision who to let go.
