Political land minds as far as the eye can see

Pros

The "worker bee" level are wonderful people. Fun to work with.

Cons

There are two definite political teams, each jockeying for position. Employees can't trust anyone because they are afraid their words will be used for political gain. It's almost paralyzing if you want to stay neutral. There is no long term strategy or direction. Organization structure gets more complicated everytime a reorg is announced. There is no consistency, leaving an employee wondering how to succeed. The number of approvals and "hands in the pot" on projects are ridiculous. It lengthens any project by over a month.

Pros

Get some product knowledge and get out.

Cons

They have their own software and zero training available. If you're in sales the only people who can teach you what you need to know are your competition. It's not in their best interest to train you and most won't. Managers also use software that no one is used to in the outside world and mine spent the day calling all over the country for advice. Yeah... that's productive!

Pros

Flexibility in terms of start/stop time 1 day remote a week Depending on role- great book of business built

Cons

Disparate outdated systems that leave lots of room for manual and time consuming work that results in orders being delivered very late, shorted, or not fulfilled unless carefully watching Pay raises don’t come even kind of close to keeping up with inflation- after a few years you’re better off looking for something new Day to day business requires involvement with a handful of teams that don’t have a great way of communicating aside from an outdated ticket system Training is not wonderful- very much a sink or swim environment Employee perk system is very limited, and takes lots of time to earn rewards 0 culture/team building functions
