Pros

Unlimited PTO, mostly fair compensation

Cons

I was hired for a position that was described exclusively as remote. Upon hire, I was placed directly in the hybrid segment, and was later told I needed to be in the office. When I brought this dishonest hiring practice to the attention to HR, they said "go write about it on the internet". Managers are also woefully unknowledgeable and bad at communication expectations and instructions

Pros

Good benefits, 3 weeks of vacation upfront (you accrue), looks good on a resume

Cons

Upper management is horrible. They don't care about their employees and the unprofessionalism is unbelievable. Most employees are fairly new; lots of turn over--which, personally, I think is a bad sign. There is no training at all; Don't be fooled when they tell you that there will be training. It's a "sink or swim" mentality. There are little to no opportunities to advance in the company and they treat external candidates better than their current employees. Pay is way below market level and for the amount of work you'll be doing, it's absolutely absurd. They run extremely lean.

Pros

Paid time off and work life balance is really the best part about working for WESCO. Generous 3 weeks starting with floating holidays as well. Health benefits aren't terrible.

Cons

The company pays terribly and rarely promotes from within. There is no room for upward mobility and if you work hard, they continue to throw more and more work your way. This is, while slackers are allowed to keep slacking. Not to mention that you do the SAME THING EVERY DAY. Quite frankly, this makes work boring and me as an employee lose interest. The company also really needs to evaluate some of those individuals in management/key leadership positions because many are either not qualified or are terrible leaders.
