Not Great

Pros

Work is steady, people are nice.

Cons

Pay is below industry standard. Company is stuck in the 90's with technology. I found the culture to still be a "good old boys club". Communication was terrible from management. Depending on the group, there was no room for advancement. Huge disconnect between headquarters and branches that causes programs to fail.

Pros

8-5 and you go home, does not interfere with home life. Benefits are ok, but not spectacular. Switching to Oracle soon (hopefully).

Cons

Training is all over the place. No set structure for any role within the company. Everyone gets 3s on performance review, regardless of performance. Pay is way below standard.

Pros

Great for entry level employees. They get a great starting salary and benefits. Most people that work there are very invested in their job and actually care about the company.

Cons

While employees care about the company the company doesn't seem to care about employees. The pay increases are very small if not nonexistant and when you get a promotion or change jobs in the company there is no expectation of getting a pay increase as most roles don't have tiers and the ones that do share a large salary band. The company would rather let great employees leave and hire someone in from the outside to fill their role at a higher pay than the outgoing employee would have stayed for than offering a current employee a real raise, that's if they don't just "absorb the role" and make others in the group split their responsibilities. Three years in a row director level and above have had to take a mandatory unpaid leave of absence of a week or two as a "cost saving measure". Meanwhile they are sponsoring a race car, buying other companies and giving executives their bonus packages.
