Pros

Employee Benefit Package is good---Health, Dental and Vision, 401k w/ company match up to 3%, Some educational reimbursement for College Courses

Cons

Disengaged upper management -- running the company by report, without adequate understanding of the sales markets and regions in which we operate. Instituted purchasing and pricing policies that pit departments against each other---currently we are operating like the US Senate---plenty of checks and balances---so much so that all progress seems to be frozen.

Leadership won't walk their talk.

Pros

Global footprint, some really great people throughout the organization, great potential.

Cons

The Upper Management talks one way and acts in a total opposite way. They find ways to run statistics to their benefit and squeeze the life out of the middle managers. Work too LEAN on things that should matter to a distributor: inventory, sales people, admin, warehouse support....and are over staffed with mangers, specialists, overlay upon overly resources the bring no true value to the sales process or bottom line.

Pros

Appear to pay competitively and well.

Cons

Misaligned leadership. Poor decision-making. Lack strategy and coordination. Complex brand portfolio and complex IT environment demands a more thoughtful, strategic approach to growth. Nonsensical IT decisions lead to mass confusion with internal and external users, aka customers. Short-sighted decisions lead to lackluster outcomes. Leaders behaviors are creating chaos for projects and programs. Those poor behaviors are a lack of meeting attendance, lack of guidance, unavailable to staff, always late, unwilling to participate and commit to strategy and planning.
