Thank you for sharing your feedback about your time as an employee at WHOOP thus far. We're pleased to hear that you value the intelligence and commitment of your coworkers. We strive to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, and it's gratifying to know that our team members reflect these qualities. Regarding your road mapping and estimation feedback, we acknowledge room for improvement in these areas, like so many fast-growing start-ups. As you likely know, we're actively working on refining these processes and appreciate your input. Additionally, we understand the significance of retirement savings and the importance of a robust benefits package. While we currently do not offer 401k matching, we regularly evaluate our benefits program and consider feedback from employees like you. Your suggestion to introduce 401k matching is duly noted, and we will carefully review it as we make decisions about future enhancements to our benefits package. We value open communication and continuous improvement, so if you have any additional suggestions, please get in touch with us directly at people@whoop.com. Your feedback is invaluable in our efforts to create a positive work environment that meets the needs and expectations of our employees.

Remote work options unfair

Pros

The new office is great. Beautiful views in great location.

Cons

Some people are hired remotely. Some commute from the west coast every other week. Some people lived in Boston and went on to buy a house elsewhere. There is 0 consistency in policy and seems to be based on favorites. Some that started years ago were never given the option to negotiate this, and its changed the course of big life decisions. Yes, some roles require being hands on in the office. But not all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review on Glassdoor. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns. We are glad to hear that you appreciate the new office with its beautiful views and great location. There's really nothing like having lunch on the 8th-floor patio! Thank you for your feedback regarding our hybrid work policy. This policy is designed to recognize that flexibility is key to fostering a healthy work-life balance, enhancing employee well-being, and promoting productivity. It also allows for consistent in-office time to maximize teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. The policy allows for Boston-based corporate employees to work from home two days a week and from the office three days a week. You are correct that some employees were hired as remote employees, and while they travel to Boston with regularity, they do not live in the Greater Boston Area. When an employee has personal circumstances and, therefore, a request that falls outside the parameters of this hybrid work policy, we encourage them to reach out to their Manager and People Business Partner so that a mutually beneficial solution that aligns with both the personal requirements of the employee and the company's overall objectives can be achieved. We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts and suggestions so that we can better understand and address the concerns of our team members. We can be reached at people@whoop.com.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience as an employee at WHOOP. We appreciate your honesty and value your input as we continuously strive to improve our work environment. We're glad you had a positive experience with the people you worked with and found the flexibility of remote work to be a plus. It’s disappointing to hear that you believe there are limitations in career growth opportunities. The Membership Services Department, in particular, recently rolled out a systematic and extensive career progression program that coincides with advanced-level training and compensation increases. We recognize that professional development and growth are important for employee satisfaction, which is why we prioritized this program this year. Your advice to remember our remote employees is well-taken. We understand the unique challenges and needs that remote employees may face, and we are always looking for ways to enhance support for our distributed workforce. We have implemented various initiatives to foster inclusivity and engagement among all employees, regardless of their location, and we will continue to enhance these efforts moving forward. We would appreciate speaking to you directly if you're open to it. Please contact us at people@whoop.com to speak with your People Business Partner.
