Pros

Many available hours Busy work so time goes quickly Acknowledge hard workers Can choose days off if done in advance. Very helpful. Very nice coworkers

Cons

High turn overs, slow jobs down and what is meant to be a part time job can quickly turn into 70 hours a week if you have open availability, which can be good or bad depending on what you want. Raises don't really happen due to corporates ridiculous demands to qualify for one. Main downfall

Pros

transportation provided if needed sometimes... ok benefits if needed...you will get a lot of hours if your a fast productive worker. pay increases depending on how fast and accurate you count your inventory.

Cons

you don't receive full pay for travel time when you go to inventory site only receive pay for travel time in company van after first hour. Everybody on the shift to work doesn't show up so it makes it much more harder on the people who do come to work to get the job done faster and accurately. A lot of TURNOVERS!!!! PEOPLE QUIT SO FAST !!!! 12 hour shifts with just a 30 min or less break. depending on how long it takes to finish counting the store. only 8.00/hr. They hire before receiving full background check.

Pros

If you are desperate, they will hire literally anyone. (I was told to wear business casual to the interview. One girl in my interview group wore a bright blue velour track suit and ugg boots to the interview and got hired.)

Cons

This job actually began to ruin my life, so I had to quit. I have a husband and a young son who I never saw because of the ridiculously long days and hours. I would only work then come home and fall asleep. Early morning start times suck when the job is 1-3hrs away. I did not have time for anything else in my life. Having to go to bed at 7pm in order to get 8hrs of sleep is very difficult. My 3yr old doesn't even go to bed that early. I have taken more benadryl (to fall asleep at ridiculously early times) during my time with WIS than I have in my entire life. Sadly, that is not an exaggeration. I still never got enough sleep. The straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, was me being so sleepy that I fell off of a ladder. Caliber of people definitely the lowest I've encountered at a job. What a bunch of degenerates. Everyone is rude and self-serving. No one is ever willing to help you, even the supervisors. Training is a joke. My training was 1hr in the office which did not at all prepare me for working in a store. My friend was tossed into her first day, no one would help her, and I had to work a different section of the store and couldn't help much. She quit on her first day. Had one supervisor constantly rubbing her education in everyone's face as if none of the rest of us could possibly have a college education. Granted, I'm guessing most of the people there don't, and maybe I'm wrong for making that judgement, but some of us are college educated and just needed a side job. Times are hard. Education or not, every person deserves respect, which we did NOT receive at WIS. Definitely NOT a career job. Find something better for yourself!
