Pros

There is always work available.

Cons

Truly disgusting company. Big Brother is always watching you. If you stop for more than a few minutes be prepared to get questioned by your route manager as to why you are sitting idle. They don't want to hear that you are caught in traffic, a container blocked, foul weather, or god forbid you have to go to the bathroom. This is company is all about productivity. Profits before people. Drivers are not involved in incident investigations, trucks in major disrepair (writing up things that are broken only to get the truck back the next day un-repaired and be told to "drive it", route managers asking drivers to dump recycling loads in with MSW because they don't want to send out an extra truck, safety concerns repeatedly reported to route managers and maintenance and they disregard. Be prepared to not have AC. Staff and trucks are always shorthanded. Routes are doubled and sometimes tripled up. The "points system" will surely get your fired because Drive Cam is "always right". Maintenance is cheap, the often use, used parts to put on trucks so they don't have to buy new. Containers are in disrepair and often are rotting out and leaking. Customers being lost due to high, non-competitive pricing (commercial & residential).

Pros

Convienently located, call center experience, appreciation attempts such as raffles and giveaways (although poorly executed). Honestly, good experience for your resume but not a career growth company.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what they are doing. Managers do what they think should happen without knowing how anything on the floor works. They have supervisors provide little information to workers. Supervisors are hired from out instead of promoted which leads to supervisors who know NOTHING about what agents on the floor need help with.
