Waste management is 1 big stress. No leadership communication. Favortism, if you cross ANYBODY with senority, you will comply (be a puppet) or they will make your everday hell. Example : sabotage your equipment, do not repair correctly, band aid everything and break downs are more than common. And you will sit and wait,and wait for roadside service. They had me sitting in a nonrunning truck for almost 6 hours in 27 degree weather! Average wait is around 2-3 hours. I refused to volunteer on a day off so after that they moved my parking assignment to a flooded area where i had to start and finish my day in 7 inches of water. They had many tactics and intimidation isn't above them. But the biggest problem is they DO NOT care about customer service. The people that pay for the service. I refused to follow "rules" and would not sacrifice customer service. Its a joke...takes me 10 seconds to jump out and throw an extra bag in the truck...but they make u sit for 10 minutes filling out a card as to why the 1 extra bag was not collected. I tried, but my work standards are far above how they service their customers. They made it impossible to enjoy every day work because i stood up for how i believe that people should get what they pay for:THEIR REFUSE HAULED AWAY ...take an extra minute to make people happy and do a good job!Just google "waste managment customer service reviews..."
