Good-ish pay, lots of Hrs, no home life.

If you want OT then this is the place for you. Starting pay is not bad. 50cent raises every six months for the first year. Co-workers are nice and they watch out for you. Work by yourself all day, if you like that.

Cons

OT is a requirement Trucks are almost always in short supply. (broken) People to work seem to be in short supply, especially for the mechanics, hence the reason trucks are always in short supply. Mechanics are good they just have too much work. NO home or personal life. Way to many hours of work. Shortest day was just under 10 hrs and you WILL absolutely work 14 hours way WAY more than the 10 hour day.

Pros

Money is good as long as you hit your metrics. The company as a whole cares about employees and retention. Guaranteed 40hours through the pandemic for all hourly employees.

Cons

Work life balance is not great. Often have an Alternating scheduled start time (I.e. 3:30am for 2 weeks, then 9:00am for 2 weeks). You never have a consistent schedule. Senior Leadership talks out of both sides of their mouth. No room for autonomous or creative decision making. Many things are very black and white. Many KPIs make it difficult to treat employees well.
