Great First Job, But Get Out Quick

Pros

Decent perks if you're in music dept, assistants and young people are super cool and really smart. You really can talk to almost any agent in the dept. If you have a good boss they'll usually give you a bonus on top of the company bonus at the end of the year

Cons

WME/Endeavor upper management could not care less less about you. They do not care about your wellbeing or future. They will exploit you for everything you're worth. Vacation days are low and using them is discouraged. There are essentially no benefits other than only ok health care. No 401k matching.

- camaraderie between assistants and in the mailroom - good crash course for admin experience - good exposure in learning about the business of representation

Cons

- not a meritocracy, lots of social politics and egos to navigate - can be a callous environment
