Pros

Very social, fun environment Interesting clients, content, and opportunities Great chance to learn the entertainment landscape- think of it as "paid grad school" and the LOW salary will hurt a bit less Ample opportunity to move laterally and experience different departments/tasks

Cons

Zero work/life balance Very low pay Aggressive environment- prepare to get screamed at, overworked, and screwed over by superiors and peers alike Value system- if you don't live and breath entertainment, this likely isn't worth it to you

Pros

I was an assistant to an agent and started my career there. Great training ground for entertainment industry - this is a place where you'll learn a lot about how things works and it'll look great on your resume if you decided agenting isn't for you. best of breed organization; If you're lucky, you'll work with some terrific talent

Cons

Very tough working environment -- a lot of the cliches are true. Really depends on who you work for. If you can stick it out for a bit, it'll look very good on your resume and be a strong door opener. That said, there were some dark moments...

Pros

Great resources, smart agents, lot of creativity and a lot to learn. If you are in with the right people there is amazing potential for your career. Health benefits are good.

Cons

Most people are miserable, have been paid off not to be, or have left over the last 7 years. Company has not been the same since the move to go public began in late 2014. Toxic culture, l and too much distance between leadership and execution team. Not a good company for women, HR is a joke, lot of sexual predators in leadership.
