Family type workplace. Great co-workers, everyone generally cares about each other.

Cons

None really. With a family workplace comes family type politics but it is nothing compared to companies in the same space or size.

WSECU offers amazing benefit, even better than State benefit

Cons

Headquarter is in Olympia, there are only 3 branches in Seattle. Unless you are willing to move down to Olympia, there is almost no advancement opportunities. The GM usually hire from outside for management position, which is unfair to employees who are not only very capable and have been with the company for 5 plus years

Pros

Working for WSECU is great because everything you do is for your members benefit. WSECU is probably the most ethical company I've ever worked for and the executive staff enjoys meeting ALL of the employees. It is an excellent environment and the culture is focused on people.

Cons

This is a non profit so you won't make as much money as you could elsewhere, but you will still enjoy excellent benefits- just not cash up front.
