      it’s a job and it pays the bills

      Cons

      the USA CEO’s reaction to women’s bodily autonomy being stripped was basically ‘there are good guys on both sides’. He sent out an email with resources to ‘effectively communicate with people we disagree with’. Don’t worry, there was also a link to AI powered counseling service for anyone who is upset with these ‘social issues’.

      Pros

      with seemingly constant reorganization and high turnover, advancement opportunities are available.

      Cons

      WSP's growth by acquisition model is disruptive, especially to staff of acquired companies. The "new" Earth and Environment business seems to be in a constant state of flux including staff turnover and reorganization. Employees, particularly project management are allowed very little autonomy, with multiple layers of oversight and cumbersome systems.

      Pros

      Very interesting projects and experience. Exposure to many different clients. Opportunities to travel to different parts of the country. Good for resume building.

      Cons

      have to be 100% billable to clients and will bend over backwards to meet unreasonable client deadlines despite the effects on employees well-being. if billable client work runs out, can be laid off. Benefits are just okay.
