Pros

Working on the road all day, away from the people that work for this type of company. Easy to get a job here out of college. Travel for training.

Cons

Long list. They use employees to get books of business, then find ways to get rid of them when they start making good money. I won multiple sales contests and had a loyal book of business that left when I did. They lack ethics and are those types of egotistical men and women that think they're better than everyone else. They expect no life outside of work. Seems like you get paid a lot but work 70-80 hours a week. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

This company is growing and expanding rapidly, so the opportunity to advancement is huge. The culture is young and vibrant, I really enjoy everyone I work with. This is a fantastic career for any person who wants a fast paced, work hard/play hard environment. They offer a great benefits package and the opportunity to make excellent money.

Cons

The biggest challenge here is that you have to put in a lot of work to learn the industry and go B2B to find your leads. Success takes hard work and dedication, so if you are not the type of person to play for #1, this would be a tough career.

Training, Advancement Opportunity, Culture, Pay - base salary, commissions, contests all the time

Cons

Outside sales isn't for everyone. It takes the right person to be able to deal with rejection and have a constant desire to better themselves every day. Its not easy, but the satisfaction of overcoming peoples objections and turning them into happy long term customers makes it all worth it.
