Pros

Training, Advancement Opportunity, Culture, Pay - base salary, commissions, contests all the time

Cons

Outside sales isn't for everyone. It takes the right person to be able to deal with rejection and have a constant desire to better themselves every day. Its not easy, but the satisfaction of overcoming peoples objections and turning them into happy long term customers makes it all worth it.

Pros

- The company culture is like no other. Hundreds of like-minded, energetic, competitive peers that love to win. - You get what you put in. If you come to work every day and do your job, you WILL make money. It is that simple. And if you are willing to come in a little early sometimes, stay a little late sometimes, and focus while you're there, you won't just make money. You will make MORE money than the majority of your peers. - At a young age, you are taught to communicate with C-level executives - CEOs, CFOs, Controllers. There aren't a lot of jobs you can start right out of college that give you that opportunity. You learn quickly how to have intelligent, business-minded conversations. This is a franchise-based company, which means you are surrounded by small business owners and have a wealth of knowledge in resources at your fingertips. - Incentives. This is a franchise-based company, so incentive programs vary by office. But in my experience, the comp plans are aggressive, fair, and allow you the opportunity to make whatever sum of money you want to make - so long as you're willing to do the work. Not only that, but there are contests all year, trips, and the best annual National Sales Conference in Florida where you get to celebrate the prior year with your colleagues and get on stage if you fought hard enough to win. - Training. There are several layers of training programs over the course of your career to help you develop into the best possible salesperson. - If you are in your 20s and looking to be successful, this is where you want to be. You won't get this type of experience elsewhere. But this is not for the lazy and unmotivated - if you are not someone who is motivated by success and by winning, you will not last long. Too many people jump in for the amazing opportunity just to blame the company for their lack of success when the reality is, they weren't willing to put in the effort. Success isn't free, people!

Cons

Long term career growth can be tough to come by depending on what office/franchise you work for. This is the nature of a franchise-based organization though, and as the company continues to explode in growth, so will these opportunities.
