Pros

Lots of team events. But be expected to drink during the week, and be judged if you do not stay “out” long enough.

Cons

Took forever to reach actual commission. Favoritism- accounts being handed to certain people. Lots of drama. Expected to make 100’s of cold calls each day.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear that your time with us didn’t meet your expectations. While we do encourage team bonding and camaraderie through outings, participation is always optional, and we strive to respect everyone’s personal boundaries and preferences. Regarding the role expectations, we understand that sales positions can be demanding, and we aim to provide the tools and support needed to help our team succeed. We’re continuously working to improve our culture and communication, and we take concerns about favoritism and workplace dynamics seriously. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us grow and create a better environment for all employees. Please reach out to the HR Department should you have any other concerns or feedback to share.

Pros

Having worked in sales for a year and a half prior to WWEX I was excited to join a company with such a great office culture and use my skills to sell. the training is extensive and well organized (three months) and they try their best to make sure you are fully prepared. day to day you do a lot of cold calls (prospecting) and warm calls (setting meetings with your prospects) which can be fun. Making sales is what everyone here wants to do. and everyone is supportive when you do. we try to onboard clients in a truly helpful manor in order to keep clients as long as possible (you make residual commission for as long as your customer stays). Additionally, there are challenges and games held in the office every week. We often go out for office outings and sometimes get lunch ordered in for the office.

Cons

If you don't like making calls to businesses this job is not for you. This job is not based on being able to hard close clients on something they don't want. So some sales experience might not directly correlate. A large part of this job is being a consultant to multiple companies, meaning dealing with other people's issues. this is logistics things are going to go wrong, you have to be able to keep your head high when customers are upset with you and you have to be able to keep your spirits up if you haven't made a sale in a while. additionally I believe 4 or five people have been fired or quit within the last year. I'm not entirely sure why but it is good info to know.
