      Pros

      As it was part of General Electric earlier, most of the people are GE old employees and GE work culture is really good and same carries on to here

      Cons

      New hires specially college grads are given more preferance then older employees, too much favouritism in India teams

      Pros

      US Counter part managers are good, flexible working hours. As long you get the job done no one will ask about the working hours. You can talk to your manager to work on different projects. If you wish to change team people go through internally. Good Salary Hike average 10 to 13 % sometimes 15%, If you are expecting more than 15% you need to switch the company.

      Cons

      Since this is Mechanical and Controls Company most of the times you feel that Software Engineers are treated like underdogs. They may not tell on the face, but it is reflected in the Hike and Recognition and promotion. And only Mechanical and Controls and Electricals team will get good promotions and recognition, Management thinks it is their birth right not to promote Software Engineers. There is not single example of Software Engineers growing in the organization. If you are a software Engineers think twice before joining this company. Sometimes managers can do micro management.
