Pros
Medical and Dental benefits were great but comes at a price. The price paid for great Medical benefits is lower salary/hourly wages and poor vacation plan. Even after that consideration, they underpay industry standard by at least 10%. They do have a pseudo family atmosphere, better than most companies that boast of such. However, like any family there is dysfunction.
Cons
Owner of company holds the purse strings so tight, onward and upward movement is stifled. THE WORST Corporate vacation plan in the country, no accrual process. You have to be there 10 years before the national average vacation plan is met. If you are comfortable with the status quo this is the place for you. If you have drive and ambition this could be a stepping stone or just miss this step. Majority Dividends and control of the company are held within the brotherhood.
