Pros

Freedom to work as a manager and develop team and business. You will have an opportunity to make good money if your store is performing well. there are many opportunities for advancment because of growing markets.

Cons

If your store isn't performing well then you won't be paid well. Long hours and work holidays and weekends. Most markets have a long list of promote-able managers and you will have to wait your turn.

Pros

pays well, good stock and days off together

Cons

1 weekend off every 1.5 months. On call 24/7 as a district manager but unit manager days off are no contact days. Work every holiday! December 25th is usually a 14 hour day. During holiday weeks you will lose 1 day off. Shift change for 3rd shift, so count on going to work twice in one day. No sick days. If someone calls out for 3rd shift and you can't get it covered, plan on working 3rd that night. That also goes for 2nd shift. If an employee is a "no call no show" and you fire them, more than likely they will just be relocated to another store. a manager may have to cut the grass, trim and mulch. Managers and district managers are productive. You will be cooking 1st shift every day.

Pros

Lots of available hours. Easy job to get. Depending on your location you could be making a far amount of cash..

Cons

In my exspernce time sheets were often manpultated. Pay was way less then min wage in my state at least which is right to work btw. If you don't work the busy shifts you'll probly spend all your tips that day on food and your check will be gone do to 8 doller meal credit. If not it will be like 17-58 dollars unless your working on holidays wich you will have to or be fired. District mangers will verbally harass you. Your first week of Training will be the most they ever pay you.
