Pros

Waffle House does provide good benifits and stock options for employers. Second and third shift are not supervised by managment, so as long as you get your job done you can kinda do what you want.

Cons

In my opinion, Waffle House does not pay grill operators fairly for everything they expect to be done every shift. Waitresess get paid less, but make decent money after their tips.

Pros

People Business - you really get to dive into peoples heart and soul in this business. Team Building - If you stay with the company for any amount of time you will become a mastermind at team building & development of others Money - You will make very fair compensation; More than average. We get some "KIDS 22,23,24,25" in the company who make 70-100K a year. I rarely find other companies compensating like this. Paid Vacation - Every level of management gets 3.5 weeks of paid vacation; Except on holidays.

Cons

Long hours - Go ahead and expect to make Waffle House your life; You will eat, sleep, and breath it. Money - Sometimes upper management likes to use Money as your life dependence when for some people that is not even the case. There are days when I just want to go back to the simple life of making unit manager salary and being done at 3PM. Non-attainable goals - As upper level management myself 'division' i get goals that are just not realistic and out of sight. Holidays - Never EVER plan on spending Chirstmas, New Years, 4th of July or ANY Holiday with your family because you will be working no matter who you are.
