1st Waitrose I worked at, was great, very friendly, good team atmosphere. Great discount and bonus scheme, clean work environment

Cons

Holidays can be an issue, swapping shifts etc. not much gratitude from some managers, bad communication between managers and partners.

You become a partner, and are treated to all the partner benefits immediately. They pay a profit share annual bonus.

Cons

Some of the management are power crazy and treat the lower staff with contempt, but I guess that can happen in most companies.
