Pros

Benefits package was really good

Cons

The direction of the company has gone downhill. Restriction of hours has resulted into less employees and more work for the management team. But, DM would always wonder why things were not done!!! Unfair scheduling, especially when your ASM would always schedule themselves off on the weekends. Unrealistic goals

Pros

Most of their employees are friendly, hardworking individuals looking to better their own lives and those of the people around them, including customers.

Cons

In the past six years or so Walgreens corporate has shifted their focus from appreciating and rewarding their employees and listening to their concerns to a more bottom-line driven model, which has caused them to lose employees in all areas, from cashiers to management. This, in turn, has resulted in poorer working conditions for their remaining employees and an abysmal shopping experience for their customers.
