      Health care plans, paid vacation and sick days

      Cons

      Management often does not take action when employees voice major concerns regarding workflow difficulties, or inadequate staffing to perform day to day operations. Manager's word is taken over the staff member's word when an issue or complaint is escalated to the corporate office.

      Over all, was a good experience. Too, many changes from corporate. Profitable stores are either closing or losing hours

      Pros

      Great customer service experience in all departments. Local management is friendly and willing to work with employees to improve. Almost like having a second family.

      Cons

      Loss of store employment hours and cutting operating hours. Profitable stores have been sabotaged to loss of profits and customer count. We no longer sponsor local vendors or carry products our customer base wanted and routinely purchased. Walgreens started as a small business over 100 years ago and is now rejecting local small businesses. Budget hours being cut have made a more stressful work load on the remaining team members and management. They would rather take the insurance for losses than of product and from robberies, than increase security not only for employees but also customers. The area is questionable at best and city police is lacking and can only do so much.

      None, it's all about what are you going to do for me today and no thanks for what you have done

      Nothing is good enough, no bonuses, work miracles, no help, no staff, do more with less, doesn't matter what you did for me before... what are u going to do for me today, cutting benefits, always working with fear from upper management
