Pros

+ Company will work with your schedule + Quarterly bonuses averaged about $200 each for part-time + Discount card (although it is lacking) + Stock contributions if your purchase stock + 401k available with generous contributions by Wal-Mart + Customers are mostly friendly + Most managers are easy to get along with

Cons

- Poor pay compared to other part-time jobs - Discount card is only 10% off - Discount card does not include groceries - Company has not provided a cost of living wage increase recently - Website is horribly organized so assisting customers in electronics can be frustrating - There is little room to advance in the company unless you are willing to work full-time - Some managers have a questionable educational history - Many times you are pulled out of your department - Recently, Wal-Mart wants to run on a skeleton crew, so many times we are swamped - Managers love to randomly move feature items around the store and get electronics associates to do it - Currently, overtime is not permitted

Pros

Better starting pay then other major pharmacy chains Easy to use computer system No late hours Customers are usually there to shop too, they seem less interested in making sure that RX is done in 15 minutes.

Cons

WalMart employs it's interns like techs, you are not extra help or there to learn you are there to work. It's hard to get a night off that you are scheduled to work, especially at slower stores.
