Pros

People you meet while working their ,like the customers.Working with a select few good people, and getting to work on black friday which are not aloud to call it.I love being in retail, and that is my favorite day of the year watching the people and helping them get their surprises

Cons

The boss who always says we have a open door here and you can talk about any problems,But never handles any of them he will get back to you with in 24 hrs but never does and never worries about what other people are going through but always tells you your family comes first untill you ask for a certain day off they he will talk to you and not nicely. The boss and his people that he tells what to do against all the other employees.NOT A NICE PLACE TO WORK.

Pros

Co-workers can be great, you make friends outside of your normal circle and are group. If you keep on your managers you can get time off. It is possible to move up. Do some good things with charities and community.

Cons

High stress, hard to get your voice heard, complaints rarely get a response from employees. Rarely a change happens that benefits employees. Not Mr. Sam's kind of company anymore, and I only say that because I talk to 20+ year people who actually met him.
