Do your research!

Pros

Good training, base salary, benefits like health insurance, 401k. Good pay plan for high volume dealerships.

Cons

Pay plan is entirely based on volume, and some rooftops are doing in a day what others do in a week. Do your research as to where you go because you can't switch to another dealership until you have tenure. The volume at Toyota is insane. Meanwhile I'm next door at the Buick GMC dealership and our volume is terrible, and I can't switch for months. I'm likely going to have to quit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for recognizing the strengths of our training, benefits, and compensation structure. We appreciate your honesty. We understand that sales volume and market conditions can vary from dealership to dealership, and we recognize that those differences can impact an employee's day-to-day experience. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate you bringing your perspective forward. If you're feeling concerned about your opportunities or career path, we encourage you to connect directly with your General Manager. They are in the best position to discuss your goals, answer questions about your current role, and explore potential paths for growth. If you don't feel comfortable having that conversation with your General Manager, our Director of Human Resources would also be happy to connect with you confidentially to better understand your concerns and help identify the best path forward. We believe open communication is an important part of creating a positive employee experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Thank you for being a member of the Walser team, and we hope to have the opportunity to continue the conversation. Lindsey Trett Walser's Director of Talent Acquisition
