Pros

Amazing culture, growth mind set, minimal turn over in upper management, independence to run the business like it is your own

Cons

Opportunity for promotion can become capped. Salary could be increased for the work load. Sometimes you feel like you are always on the clock.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I’m glad to hear that you enjoy working at Wasatch, and that we have had a positive impact on your career! We believe that our success as an organization depends on the employees on our team. By allowing our managers to make the right decisions for their properties and teams, we have time to focus on growing Wasatch. As you mentioned with a low turnover rate at the corporate level it does reduce internal growth at certain levels, however, our continued growth as an organization means that we are constantly creating new positions to keep up with our growth. In 2023 we are continuing to push wages to reward our employees for their hard work. If you have additional feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the HR team. Thanks again for your insight. Sincerely, Lisa Levanger VP of HR

Pros

- Competitive pay - Set schedule - Several communities so it’s easy to promote/transfer

Cons

- Occasionally you come across a manager who truly and genuinely cares. It’s few and far between. - Benefits are not competitive with others in the industry - Training and development are subpar and rarely focused on - Time off is hard to accommodate and is frowned upon - Office politics are evident Overall, I do not feel that the executive team cares for their employees, and that trickles down to the on-site teams. Their culture is very much a “do as I say, not as I do” culture and is so focused on revenue goals that they lose sight of their people.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re happy to hear that you had a positive outlook on our compensation structure and room for promotion. We strive to promote from within and have worked hard to create a pay structure that rewards our employees for their hard work through not only base wage but also bonuses. We appreciate the feedback on our training and onboarding. In 2022 we worked to restructure our on-site positions into tiers to focus on growth and training at a more granular level. In the training department we have hired additional staff with onsite experience to provide more support and individual focus. In 2023 we are continuing to push wages as well as increase employee recognition through our quarterly employee appreciation program. Thank you again for your insight, and we wish you all the best in your career. Sincerely, Lisa Levanger VP of HR
