Pros

Very collaborative environment, surrounded by friend, incredibly intelligent people. Lots of opportunity to make your role your own, and work without being micromanaged. Very interesting, challenging, and varied projects. The company has many very experienced, knowledgable people who make great mentors.

Cons

As a manager, it's difficult to reward employees because the compensation policy is very conservative. If you're an employee who frequently goes above and beyond, it's difficult to feel rewarded for that performance. As a global company, some of the policies and procedures seem very small-company minded.

Great Technology some really smart people great promise for possibilities - can learn a lot (have to be self-motivated)

Cons

-Access to possibilities is based on knowing the right people at the right time, beware of missing opportunities -Current track the company is on is based on prepping for change of CEO, that change-over can't come soon enough, because the current track is killing employees and the culture -departments have walled themselves off for survival mode, making change hard and cross-department cooperation is low. -the carrot on the end of the stick is rubber, trying to get the carrot is futile, unless you are satisfied learning for your own sake and not for company recognition save yourself the effort
