Pros

Some people at the company are really friendly and great to work with. The people are very talented and work hard. Very good time off, HSA and 401k are nice.

Cons

CEO is an engineer and DID NOT graduate in business. I personally think his lack of schooling and skills in business is hurting the company. I think he lacks the discipline to separate people from technical ideas and he tries to solve problems using technical skills and doesn't have enough people skills.... empathy, patience, respect for other opinions, to be a CEO and manager of people. CEO has implemented his ideas and if you check some of the other new reviews you will see the pain and anxiety he has caused people at the company. I personally think the CEO will run the company into the ground before he admits that he is making mistakes. I think the people around him, friends and other managers are afraid of him and have given up on trying to help him by pointing out his mistakes. A strong leader listens and learns from his peers and makes the correct changes needed, CEO at Wavetronix will not do that because of pride.

Pros

Good hours, good while training for different job, train and bus pass. Can work and go to school. No deadline pressure. Average start pay. Cafeteria on property.

Cons

Long tedious hire process. Poor management, poor focus, no pay increases, no growth plan, titles with no contribution, no grievance policy, hidden requirements to receive compensation plan agreed to at hire. Employees not valued. Managers can treat employees poorly with no oversight. Agreements made at hire, do not happen. Policy constantly changing. Cubicles. Low moral. Low integrity. Recent high turnover rate.

Pros

Relaxed environment. Great coworkers who work hard to make great products and improve the company. Friendly atmosphere. Family friendly work schedules.

Cons

All cons can be attributed to the mandatory programs the CEO has rolled out in the last few years. Management now forces everyone to attend kooky self-help training programs that at best are a waste of time, and at worst have cause distrust between management and employees. Anyone caught complaining about these programs is formally disciplined. It feels like the KGB at times. Many good people have quit out of frustration of this program alone. The pay program is also very odd. You are now payed on your "performance", but how to determine that has never been well defined and has caused more grief than gain.
