Pros

Keg beer on tap on multiple floors Young company Culture Moves very fast Rising Ecommerec site that looks great on the resume

Cons

Wayfair on the engineering side uses and abuses you. They demand a ton from you and when you deliver there is zero reward. My entire department has been overturned in the 19 months i been there. I am the second most senior person on my team which is insane. Everyone else has either been pushed out(fired) or has since left. The raises are garbage and an absolute joke. I got above expectations across the board and got a 2% bump like geee thanks. The pay is subpair I have since decided to leave and received a 23k bump. They really try to rope you in with stock and the bonus but, even that isn't guaranteed. My friend got above expectations and got a 0% raise on the year because they deemed his salary outside of the pay band. He wasn't making much more then me. They are losing their top talent in droves all just too make the bottom dollar.

Pros

None. My experience was awful.

Cons

This employer does not encourage growth within the company even though they tell you so during your initial interview. There's so many employees there and you would expect a very down to earth environment but upper management does not allow interaction between employees or friendships. I was told on multiple occasions that we could not make friends on the team because it wasn't professional. Another downfall is that upper management does not know how to "manage". Not sure when companies will realize that just because someone has worked there for years it doesn't mean they need to be a manager. Managers need to have people skills and encourage employees to grow. Wayfair has a lot to learn in regards to treating their employees right. I know one team has had multiple issues with a manager for YEARS and she's still employed on that team.
