-Unkind, idiotic people in the "technology" group.
-They don't do real IT there. Anything that requires an ounce of logic is outsourced to a local MSP. This may sound desirable if you're looking for an easy time, but the "technology" group more than makes up for this by tasking you with the futile, frustrating and impossible (If you're from the city, at least) enterprise of fitting into their "culture".
-This "technology" group is staffed with literally two people who know absolutely nothing about IT and they're consumed by your interactions with the staff. And they have a very strict definition for how these interactions should go. I left before my first month was complete because I just couldn't take it anymore. They want you to be in love with the company, but do nothing on their end to show you that you're appreciated. There's so much more to be said, but suffice it to say that you should steer clear of an office position for this company. It's not worth it, especially if you're in IT and don't want to be a glorified clerical worker.
-It's a good thing I had another job lined before I left this one, but I would honestly starve before I worked another day at this place.
