Pros

The front-line staff who are directly impacting the members truly care about the individuals and have a passion for providing quality services to people.

Cons

Leadership of the company does not listen to or understand what front-line staff experience on a daily basis and does not foster an environment that allows staff to voice concerns or struggles. Company has shifted it's focus from outcomes to money and restructured the organization so many times that no one is ever able to execute their job functions to the best of their ability because all you do is learn new workflows. Top leadership only wants people who are "yes men" below them and don't allow for open dialogue about changes that impact staff and the people the company is helping. Very toxic work environment.

Pros

WaySpring has been a breath of fresh air professionally. They have the structure and organization of a large company. While also maintaining a wonderful culture and prioritizing staff. From executive leadership to front line staff the vision is clear and executed everyday. The benefits are competitive, lots of room for career progression and a surplus of knowledgeable staff.

I am impressed with their genuine commitment to providing excellent care to members with multiple needs including substance use disorder. The company is bringing a new approach to caring for people with medical, psychiatric and daily living needs. It's exciting to be a part of this revolutionary approach.

Cons

The startup has been slow which is frustrating.
