Pros

Waystar has a very impressive onboarding process. The interview process allowed me to interact with multiple leaders and each discussion was sincere & honest and provided a glimpse at the company culture very early on in the process. Once hired, online completion of the required documents was straightforward and simple. The HR department provided a nice presentation to walk me through payroll & benefits, which is greatly appreciated as a new hire. My equipment arrived on my doorstep and the IT department scheduled calls on day one to assist with setup. Truly stellar experience.

Cons

The interview process is lengthy, but well worth the time investment as I'm excited to work alongside such a fantastic team.

Pros

My manager is great, love what I do and those that I work with.

Cons

New employees and those through acquisitions are valued more than long time loyal employees. Waystar used to make Milestone Anniversaries a big deal but now you are only recognized on a PowerPoint presentation during a quarterly townhall and promised for months (6+) that your gift is coming only to receive nothing but the Waystar “swag” every 3 months that everyone receives. The pay is not very good for the amount of work that you do either - makes you feel taken advantage of and that your time invested within the company means nothing to Waystar.
