Pros

- Lots of perks (free coffee, free food, free Tee-shirts...) - Great workplace - Casual environment - Some great people

Cons

Probably the best and the worst experience of my career! - If you are looking for a place to grow it probably wont happen unless you know the right people. - I worked there for a couple of years and it's a very nepotistic environment! The people that get promoted are usually the ones that don't really do anything and you see walking around the office all day talking to people. A lot of people are protected by management and get promoted regularly without explanations. - Constantly moved from floor to floor and desks to desks without any explanations. You wake up everyday thinking that you may get let go as there is no management and structure.

Pros

If you are aware of one, I’d love to know.

Cons

Where does one even begin? I’ve never seen such a poorly run organization in my life, and the saddest part is that no one within the organization who has the power to change it, cares enough to do so. For a company that is ultimately in the real estate business at the end of the day, the lack of real estate knowledge and experience throughout the organization is unbelievable. This company is so obsessed with itself that they don’t even take the time to understand their competition. If they did they would know that their product has become inferior to that of other flex space operators over the last 6-12 months as the competition in this space has forced everyone else to step up their game. If WeWork doesn’t make MAJOR changes in the next 12 months, I think it may be too late to reverse the damage that has been done.

Pros

Good salary. Events. Cool HQ. Access to all buildings.

Cons

You will preach the gospel of “do what you love” and “make a life not a living” but then you realize, you’re just there to try to help WeWork hit it’s numbers and support the members...and not “doing what you love” yourself. It’s a system you will get sucked into. Also lots of meetings. Roadblocks to get approvals. Micro management. Long hours. Not a conducive environment for people who want to become an entrepreneur themselves because WeWork will eat up all your time/life.
