Pros

Great people on the sales team

Cons

I have been in sales for 2 years and am planning to leave soon. I was promoted twice here from SDR to SDR Team and SDR to AE. Meritocracy was preached so much but the reality is very different. The top reps(friends of the managers) got moved to the inbound team where they have opportunity to make a lot of money, everyone else got a demotion. As an AE I had 2 SDR's setting for me. Today with the new comp plan I am a glorified SDR. Worst of all they have implemented a point system like we are 5 years old. If you don't get 4 gold stars a day you are a bad boy. Be careful, they said they won't weaponize all this benchmark data they are collecting but the day I don't use their dialer to make calls or call on their lists I know i'll get a slack from my director telling me all about how she wishes she had this kind of opportunity when she was an AE and how if I don't like being micromanaged I'll miss out on this "rocket ship" This kind of micro management might work with SDR's but its B*s for established reps who have already worked their way out of the trenches and know how to manage a pipeline.

Pros

Good culture among employees, good maternity/paternity programs, decent amount of PTO. Every once in awhile your team will get to go do an activity, like Top Golf.

Cons

Ever since the founders left, things have been going down the toilet. Management was always somewhat incompetent, but now they're even worse and there's no sign of it being fixed. Valuable people were laid off during COVID and less valuable people were kept. Management is out of touch with who's actually going the extra mile and are only concerned about numbers. Previous employees who were good at their jobs have tried reapplying (I've spoken with several) but are being turned down.

Pros

Company has grown a lot and will likely continue to grow.

Cons

I worked here for a long time and I had a horrible experience. I am fully vested and it is not in my best interest to leave a scorching review but I think people should know. When talking with my coworkers everybody hated it. Seriously I laugh at all these positive reviews because if they were honest very few people like being at Weave. The management is the worst in the valley. A lot of super inexperienced leaders who are bad at leadership. I am speaking specifically about the sales leadership. They are extremely under qualified. If you take a sales job here expect absolutely no support but expect a lot of pressure to hit quotas. The people in leadership positions are the reps that were able to get away with the most lying, cheating, and just overall being sketchy. They then become your manager and it’s more of the same. One of the biggest problems is opportunity inequity. If you are not 1 of 4-5 reps don’t expect any inbound or big trade shows. Quotas were built with the expectation that you would be getting inbound and traveling to events so don’t expect to hit quota if you aren’t already best friends with sales leadership. I know this is going to get drown out by a bunch of generic good reviews that aren’t real but if you are doing thorough research and you stumble upon this review please know that almost everybody at weave spends their time outside of weave talking about how much it sucks and how much it has affected their mental health. Every time I see someone posting they just started at Weave and they are excited I truly feel sad for them and what they are about to experience. I’ve never felt more like an employee and less like a person then at weave. #employeesnotpeople
